gamesfaqs- hey... im from philippines and im 28 yrs old and proud to say still hook to gaming. i think i will still play games until i die of old ages... lol video gaming for me is like breathing the air... cant live without it... anyway thanks for creating such marvelous guides for gamer like me who are dumb to finish the game by their own.. im looking forward to buy my own ps3 someday, in Philippines the price of ps3 the price is sky high..

It's good to see you stopping by here, buddy. I'm so glad you messaged me that one day when you're game froze. For once, a game bug really did help some people out.
The FFXII guide is definitely an experience that will never/still can't forget. My hat is truly off to FAQ writers that constantly write for RPGs.

Yeah, games have certainly come a long way since the days of Atari 2600. I was too young to experience Pong when it was new, but I hear enough about it from my dad and his friends when they were younger.

gamespot.com- (U MUST SEE IT)I never see such a walkthroughs for fianl fantasy 12. FFXII- Whenever i play a final fantasy game for the first time, i always play without a walkthrough (i like not knowing what to expect)! I don't know what happened, but i got so lost in The Great Crystal, and i kept randomly running into secret espers that would obliterate me .. so i broke, and did some searching to find a good guide... after finding way too many crappy guides, i found yours... and it was perfect!! i just wanted to say thanks, you're amazing!

DMC4 was a much anticipated game for me last year, so I tried to go all out on it. Nero was such a fun character to list up in-depth techniques for since he wasn't as complicated as Dante yet still very flashy.
With GoWII, I've done forgotten quite a bit of the special techniques for that game. Like I tell many readers that email me about certain guides, my FAQ knows more than I do at this point.

Let me just start by ranting about how awesome and wonderful you are. I just really want to give you a physical hug but i suppose a cyber one suffices. I'm currently in the last dungeon of FFXII and wow this game was a doozie but i seriously could not do it without you! SERIOUSLY zodiac spear chests?!?! i felt like you were holding my hand through everything, its a nice feeling. thanks!
Oh and you're probably the only one who was thoughtful enough to include pic URLs which are a BIG plus. a few maps might have been nice though but not a deal. oh and i also really want to praise your recommended gambits and your little side quest availabilty boxes. they were a nice touch.... a few questions though, (sorry for the long post)
1) how long did it take you to make this walkthrough (FFXII, since it is the longest)?
2) is this a hobby or do you get compensated for these? if not YOU SHOULD!
3) why are you so FREAKING AWESOME? you dont have to answer this one...

You may want to have a look at the maps on GameFAQs. Sephirosuy has some very helpful maps on there, especially his Great Crystal map. As the game gets more complex toward the end, it gets quite hard to cover thoroughly. The Great Crystal still haunts my mind whenever I look back at that guide.
1) It took me around three months altogether. I started in November of 2007 and finally finished up the full walkthrough somewhere in January of 2008. I think that is right. I've updated that guide tons. I actually deleted quite a few of the older update mentions on it to keep the version history a bit cleaner.
2) It's a hobby for the most part. Every now and then I get some forms of compensation from certain gaming sites though.
3) Because I have awesome readers like you.

Hey Todd. I appreciate it. I'm not really worried as much about overall sentence structure unless something doesn't come across as very clear. If you found any typos then please email me about them though. I try to be as careful as possible but I do read over some errors at times even when proofing.

That's the only site that I know of with high quality video walkthroughs. Other than them, you could try youtube.com.
